TENDER FOR ELECTRO-MECHANICAL INSTALLATION, PIPELINE EXTENSION AND ELECTRIC FENCING WORK FOR DIMA ADHO FARM.

MID-P is implementing a Resilient Approaches in Natural Rangelands Ecosystem (RANGE) program
that enhances environmental sustainability and resilience in Isiolo County as a Local Implementing
Partner. RANGE is a five-year initiative (2024–2028) funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the
Netherlands (EKN). It is implemented by a consortium comprising Mercy Corps, Frontier Counties
Development Council (FCDC), and the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation
(ITC), University of Twente.

This initiative aims to support the establishment and operationalization of the Dima Adho 5-acre
farm to enhance community resilience through sustainable farming. The program seeks to
improve livestock productivity and strengthen livelihoods by increasing the availability of quality
fodder while promoting sustainable land use and environmental conservation practices.

To support implementation of the farm activities, MID-P intends to undertake infrastructure
development works necessary for effective establishment and operation of the farm. The
proposed works include installation of electro-mechanical systems, construction of water
distribution structures, pipeline extension, and installation of electric fencing to secure the farm
and support efficient farm management.
