Ngaramara ward planning committee (WPC) presented their Ward development plan during USAID team led by their mission Director and other IPs visit which elaborated what they so far implemented and completed, ongoing projects and pending activities. They clearly explain their role as advocate for community interest and how they are influencing both Governments and partners. The mission Director assured USAID’s support to achieve their aspiration and Directed LMS and its partners to give 2% of their budget as administrative cost to WPC and directly channel to their accounts. County government of isiolo also pledged 3% once the WPD bill is passed into law. The mission director also proposed the WPC name changed to ward committee for sustainable development (WCSD) because their work is beyond planning and implementation. Bulla pesa WPC also attended the meeting and presented their achievements and challenges.
